Beautiful landscapes and delicious local wines were the highlights of my Easter vacation in Uruguay. I was also pleasantly surprised by the daily complimentary breakfast and the friendly staff. the location was great, with easy access to nearby vineyards and natural parks.
The quality of the accommodation for the high price paid. the room was rudimentary and felt old-fashioned.

I recently stayed at Campotinto for a long weekend getaway. The location is stunning, surrounded by vineyards and with beautiful grounds. The swimming pool was a great place to relax, and the breakfast/lunch/dinner restaurant had amazing views. The service, especially at breakfast, was top-notch. The rooms were spacious and quiet, with only the sound of birds tweeting. The wine tasting at the nearby family-run wineries was a fantastic experience, and borrowing the bikes to explore the area was a nice touch.
I do recommend this hotel.

Beautiful vineyards, countryside scenery, and clean rooms make this a good option for business travelers. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I appreciate their efforts to set up the complimentary bikes, which were in good shape and easy to use. the vineyards had a charming little house where guests can taste all the wines.
I discovered the location of the hotel wasn't ideal for my business trip. It was too far from where I needed to be and I had to spend precious time getting to and from the hotel.
